| Comments: | Ms. Young, my husband is the leader of this team and it is because of his love and devotion to Christ that I can say we are winners...not based on the games won but because of what I know he is investing in the team. Whether they receive it or not is up to the individual but Coach Sharp knows his purpose and because of that I call the entire team winners. What they do in their private time is their business but when they put on the Hurricane uniform then they have decided they will abide by the rules of the team as established by Coach Sharp. Those that are in the military do put their lives on the line whenever they have to go off to fight in a very real war and we appreciate that. You agree with the so called scout on some of his points but did not indicate which ones and that is not important. I don't understand your comment about grouping people as "christians" and those who were in the war doing right by the Lord ???? and I believe that may be a misunderstanding on your behalf. Being a Christian is NOT a requirement for team membership and my husband and I do not stand in judgement against any of these players but do encourage them to be the best people they can be. | Comments: | To the "Scout", you are right about some of the things that you said, but for the most part there are some good players on the team. So are still young-minded, but they are being molded by the professionals on the team. A true scout would take that indivdual with the talent and train him right to be the player as a "MAN". As far as the "Team Mom"...I would be careful as who I would group as christians on your team....not all of those that fought for our freedom are doing right by the Lord...just keeping it real....oh by the way...isn't this supposed to be talk about football! |
